Funeral services for Mrs. Onell McBride, age 90, are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, December 19, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. McBride passed away late Tuesday at her home in Huron. She was born May 19, 1924 in Henderson County to the late Roy and Bertha Waddle Beecham. She was a homemaker, a faithful member of Palestine Pentecostal Church for 64 years, enjoyed gardening (flowers and vegetables), and valued her family and gatherings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Walter McBride and one sister, Mildred Beecham Brittain. Survivors include her four sons, Larry (Sandra) McBride and Jerry (Patricia) McBride of Lexington and Sammy McBride and Ronnie McBride of Huron; one brother, Dennis Beecham of Lexington; one sister, Marie Beecham Wood of Lexington; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
