O’Neil Parker 85, of Hartselle passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born April 18, 1934 in Calhoun County, Alabama to Robert and Lovie Parker. Mr. Parker was a veteran of the US Army, after his service he was employed by Worthington, after which he operated two country stores in Calhoun County and was also in the real estate business and was a vegetable and cattle farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. He is survived by his wife Jean Parker, one son Tim Parker; sisters, Joyce Gaskill, Sharon Hamilton (Larry), Clara Smith; one brother Bill Rigby (Dorothy). Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home followed by a 3:00pm Chapel Service with brother Bill Hall and Brother Lance Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow at Hartselle Memory Gardens. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
