Oneal Kerby, 75 years old, of Town Creek passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at his residence. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Hollis Retherford officiating. Burial will be in Blackground Cemetery.
Oneal loved farming, gardening, working with Jason in his shop and spending time with his granddaughter, great grandbabies and his family.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years; Melba Farley Kerby, one son; Jason Kerby(Pamela), one granddaughter; Kasi Johnson(Cody), two great grandchildren; Zaylee and Jax Johnson, four brothers; Marlin Kerby(Joann), Coy(Chevie), Larry Joe(Charlene) and Stevie Kerby(Kucera), two sisters; Marie Miller(Harry) and Donna Gibson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Hollis and Hazel Kerby and one son; Brian Kerby
Pallbearers will be Chris Kerby, Greg Kerby, Keith Kerby, Stacy Thrasher, Austin Thrasher and James Lovelady. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jax Johnson.
The family extends special thanks to Kindred Hospice, Family and Bro. Hollis Retherford and many friends, neighbors and church family that has been there for us in our time of need.
