THE SHOALS-O’Neal Bridge will close the north and southbound lanes of the bridge on Wednesday, October 12.
The lane closures will take place on Wednesday as contractors make repairs to the concrete median wall on the bridge
The southbound lane will close for about 2 hours beginning at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.Once that work is completed, the northbound lane will close for about 3 hours.
The bridge is expected to reopen about 5 a.m.
Law enforcement will be present to assist with traffic control.
Motorists are urged to use the Singing River Bridge as an alternate route.
