MORGAN COUNTY-The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department’s Drug Task force arrested one man for Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine.  Here is how Sheriff Ana Franklin describes the scene and the arrest of one suspect:

“On Wednesday, March 18, 2015, Agents with the Morgan County Drug Task Force arrived at residence 803 Logwood Rd. SW. in Hartselle, Al. to speak with Mr. Jamason Nappier (w/m 42). Agents had been advised that Methamphetamine was being Manufactured at the residence. Agents observed Methamphetamine making materials in plain view outside the residence and obtained a search warrant for the property. Agents executed search warrant and located 3- One Pot Methamphetamine Laboratories, along with chemicals, equipment to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Agents also located an amount of Liquid Methamphetamine that exceeds Trafficking amounts.
Agents learned that Mr. Nappier had 3 children living in the residence. Morgan County DHR was contacted and arrived on scene. The children were placed in the care of other family members as part of a safety plan.
Mr. Nappier was decontaminated by Hartselle Fire Department.
Mr. Nappier was arrested and charged with the , (Bond set at $150,000.00), Trafficking in Methamphetamine, (Bond set at $100,000.00) and for the Unlawful Possession of Felony Drug Paraphernalia, (Bond set at $50,000.00). Bonds set by Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Howell, Totaling $300,000.00.
Investigation is ongoing for additional suspects involved in the Manufacturing of Methamphetamine at the residence.”
