One Person Dead After Two-Vehicle Collision In Muscle Shoals

MUSCLE SHOALS-At approximately 5:50a.m. on May 31,2024 members of the Muscle Shoals Police Department and Fire Department responded to the intersection of Woodward Ave and Richton Ave for a two vehicle crash that involved one fatality.

Preliminary investigation indicates a Ford Ranger truck was traveling North on Woodward Ave when the vehicle driven by Jesus Garcia-Moreno, 36, of Muscle Shoals came off of Richton Ave. Garcia-Moreno failed to yield the right of way colliding with the truck.

Garcia-Moreno was pronounced deceased at the scene by Colbert County Deputy Coroner Matt Moore.

The Muscle Shoals Police Department sends its condolences to the Garcia-Moreno family.
