FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department made an arrest in an armed robbery that took place Friday night, November 29. Here is how the FPD describe events leading up to the arrest:
“Florence Man Jailed In Weekend Robbery:
Traevane Ohara Turner, 21, of Florence was arrested by Florence Police following a reported Saturday night armed robbery. Reports indicate that the victim and several acquaintances met in the parking lot near Cloverdale and Heathrow when Turner approached and struck the victim in the head with a gun. Turner is accused of stealing prescription medication from the victim during the robbery. The victim, who’s name is not being released, was treated at a local hospital. Turner remains jailed on bond totaling $52,000.
