One Dead In Jackson County Single-Vehicle Accident

JACKSON COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Jackson County that has taken the life of one person:

“A single-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. Saturday, January 7, has claimed the life of a Woodville man.

James W. Webb, 40, was fatally injured when he was struck by the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jonathan K. Richey, 42, of New Market. Webb was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Jackson County 8, approximately three miles north of Woodville, in Jackson County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
