One Dead After Single-Car Accident Near Nauvoo

NAUVOO-On Sunday, April 2  the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported an auto accident that claimed the life of one person:

“A single-vehicle crash at 8:05 a.m. today, April 2, has claimed the life of a Nauvoo woman.

Trisha Nicole Sims, 21, was killed when the 2002 Honda Accord she was driving left the roadway and overturned off a bridge. Sims was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred on Sandcut Road, one mile south of Nauvoo.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
