MORGAN COUNTY-Deputies responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of Hwy 36 East on January 1. One subject was located suffering from a gunshot wound and was treated by medical. One subject has been detained. The shooting victim passed away at the scene.
Coroner Jeff Chunn has identified the shooting victim as 34 yr old Steven Eric McCulloch of Hartselle.
Roger Timothy Clayton
Investigators have arrested Roger Timothy Clayton, 67 of Hartselle. He is charged with: 13A-6-2 – Homicide-Murder.
The arrest is in connection to the New Years Day shooting that occurred at a residence on Hwy 36 East in unincorporated Hartselle.
The subject was transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail. No Bond.
