The identity of the two victims in the shooting that took place on Friday, September 11 are Margurite Victorria Garcia, 25 and Michael Nicholas Linville, 50.
LAUDERDALE COUNTY-The second victim in the shooting that took place on County Road 87 on Friday morning, September 11 has died. This has been confirmed by Lauderdale County deputies.
The suspected shooter’s car was found at a home on County road 74 just a short time after the shooting took place. The vehicle was some mile and a half from the crime scene.
Sources say the suspect was admitted to ECM where he was treated and was released into police custody.
The alleged shooter Steven Chase Stanfield has been arrested on two counts of capital murder according to investigators. o motive for the shooting has been released.
No names have been released pending notification of next of kin on the deceased.
