DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department arrested one suspect for discharging a firearm.  Here is the statement from the Decatur Police Department:

“SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:
On August 25th, 2015, Decatur Police Patrol Units were dispatched to 613 3rd Ave. SW in reference to gunshots. Once on scene Officers observed evidence that a shooting took place.
On August 26th, 2015, a victim in the case came forward advising his vehicle had been shot multiple times by Dennis Noel Holmes II.
During the course of the investigation Holmes was arrested and charged with Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle. Holmes was booked into the Decatur City Jail and transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $5,000.00 bond.

Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle is a Class B Felony.”
