Tiffany Lashawn Larue
ATHENS-The Athens Police Department arrested a suspect who discharged a firearm in the city limits.
Here is the statement issued earlier today by Police chief Floyd Johnson:
“This afternoon Officers arrested Tiffany Lashawn Larue for discharging a firearm in the city limits. Larue went to a residence in the 800 block of Malone Street.
Apparently Larue went to the residence to drop off her child and saw her son’s father. Larue pulled into the yard going too fast and due to the mud in the yard she was unable to stop till she struck the porch.
Larue then got into an argument with her son’s father. Before leaving Larue got out of the vehicle and shot three times into the air.
Larue was arrested a short time later on 5th Avenue. She was booked at the police department and bonded out later in the afternoon. There were no injuries. “
