Oma Pearl Seaver Farris, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Columbia, TN, retired from Dura Automotive, and a member of Flatwoods Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clabe and Bessie Counts Owen; her husband, Truman Farris; one daughter, Teresa Seaver Martin; and one sister, Mildred Gardner.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol Edwards (Ronnie) of Pulaski, TN, Sheila McLain (Danny) of Westpoint, TN, and Marie Hood (Dennie) of Leoma, TN; one son, Ray Seaver (Lisa) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters, Sara Tinnon of Pulaski, TN and Karen Owens of Lawrenceburg, TN; two brothers, Aaron Owens of Pulaski, TN, and Marvin Owens of Lawrenceburg, TN; her step-mother, Eva Griffin of Ethridge, TN; nine grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, September 20, 2021, with Colin Leighton officiating. Interment will follow at Leoma Cemetery in Leoma, TN.
