Funeral services for Ollis Hobert Anders, 76, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Mission Grove Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery, the Revs. Charles Hannah and Wade Maynard officiating. The body will lie-in-state at the church Wednesday from noon until 2.
Visitation will be 6 – 9 Tuesday evening at Mission Grove Baptist Church.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Anders passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born November 14, 1937 to parents Thomas Merity and Emily Ethal Maze Anders.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Jonell Anders; two daughters, Debbie Hayes, Rhonda Merrill; brother, Birton Anders; sister, Opal Collins; four grandchildren, Ray Brown, Brandi Myers, Justin (Sandy) Brown, Daniel Merrill; two great-grandchildren, Michael Myers, Jr., Makenzie Simmons; and a host of family and friends.
