Ollis E. “Mutt” Richardson, 80, of Rogersville, Ala., died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at his residence.
Services will be Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, 11 a.m., at Spry Funeral Home, Athens. Burial will be at Hooie Bedingfield Cemetery in Rogersville with Masonic Rites.
He was a member of Hurricane Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Rogersville.
Mr. Richardson was born May 31, 1932, in Limestone County. He was the owner/operator of Custom Dozer Service, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of Rogersville Masonic Lodge and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Survivors include wife, Imogene Richardson, Rogersville; daugthers, Kathy Talley and husband, Ted, Rogersville, Vicki Herston and husband, Terry, Rogersville; son, John Richardson and wife, Melissa, Rogersville; stepdaughters, Marilyn Gargis and husband, Benny, Greenhill, Quenna Aldridge and husband, Mark, Killen, Pam Cole, Florence, Bobbie Springer, Greenhill; grandchildren, Leah Garner and husband, Kevin, Rogersville, Jeremy Herston and wife, Shelley, Rogersville, Kelli Cross, Rogersville, Matthew Herston and wife, Heather, Rogersville, Wesley Parker and wife, April, Rogersville, Jenni Kennedy, Athens, Ericia Mason and husband, Alan, Rogersville, John David Richardson, Rogersville; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Doyce Richardson and wife, Judy, Rogersville; sisters, Mary Lou Springer and husband, Billy, Rogersville, Robbie Kelley, Rogersville, Bonnie Birdwell and husband, O’Neal, Rogersville; nieces; and nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife, Corine Richardson; son, Ricky Lee Richardson; granddaughter, Leigh Anna Ricahrdson.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons.
