Ollie Hester of Sulligent, 80 Alabama born March 16, 1939, in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Hicks Hester and Stella Mason Hester. Ollie attended Sulligent Schools in Sulligent, Alabama. He drove a truck for most of his life, but had also worked for the City of Sulligent Water Department. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Died Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi.
Visitation: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2019, at the Otts Funeral Home in Sulligent, Alabama.
Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2019, at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial: Sulligent City Cemetery.
