Olivia Kay Casiday Holdbrooks, 61, of Sheffield, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 16, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Cox Boulevard Church of Christ, Sheffield. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the church with Wade Hunt and Chad Holder officiating.
Olivia was a member of Cox Boulevard Church of Christ and a 1982 graduate of Sheffield High School. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and designer at Lola’s Gifts and Flowers in Sheffield. Olivia loved to read and, although she enjoyed watching all kinds of sporting events, she was an avid Alabama Fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Holdbrooks; and parents, Harvey and Ann Casiday.
Olivia is survived by her children, Hunter Holdbrooks (Quesha), Casiday Holdbrooks (Payton), and Jo Ellen Holdbrooks (Raul); siblings, Nelson Casiday, Audra Andrews (Skip), Carl Casiday, Brian Casiday, Cheryl Borden (James), and Paige Creasy (Marc); grandchildren, Braxton Holdbrooks, Jordan Starnes, and Joseph Starnes; and nieces and nephews, Michael, Nicholas, and Craig, Trey, Joanna, and Michelle, Lauren and Shannon, Anna Catherine and Emma Leigh, and Chase and Travis.
