Oliver Williams Chavers age 91 of Albertville passed away Friday at his residence. Funeral Services will be 4PM Sunday, March 9,2014 At Albertville Funeral Home Chapel Downtown and burial in Memory Hill Cemetery with Dr. Keith Williams Officiating, and Terry Williams, Floyd Powell, Mark Davis, Shayne Gunter, Colby Chavers, Kyle Chavers, serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be The Men’s Sunday School Class of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Maurine Chavers of Albertville, daughter, Janet C. Gunter (Larry) of Center Point, AL, son Daryl Chavers (Diane) of Mentone, AL. Grandchildren Shayne Gunter (Katie) of Huntsville, Kyle Chavers (Mandy) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Colby Chavers (Rachel) of Festus, MO, Kimberly Chavers of Mentone, AL, and 7 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Chavers is preceded in death by his Parents, William Henry Chavers and Annie McCord Chavers, 5-brothers and 2-sisters.
