Mr. Boyett departed this life Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Pleasant View Healthcare Center in Bolivar.
Born March 9, 1925 in Middleton to Luther C. and Lillie McKee Boyett, he was a farmer. Having lived all his life in the Hebron area, Mr. Boyett worked in logging, with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, most recently sold produce from his truck and was known as “the watermelon man.” He enjoyed reading the Bible, working puzzles, watching westerns and ball games and loved being with family. He especially loved to ride his “twosome.” He was a member of Dixie Hills Baptist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Kay Zawacki and her husband Tommy; 2 grandsons, Ryan Zawacki and his wife Ashley, and Ben Zawacki and his wife Courtney; and by 3 great grandchildren, Will, Tate and Levi Zawacki. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Marie Bryant and Bernice Williamson.
