Olene Green Waddle, 88, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at The Meadows. She was born February 17, 1927 to the late Ulmer Green and the late Myrtle Phillips Green. She retired from Genesco after 30 years of service. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and being active in her church.
Suvivors include her Daughter, Sandra (Dennis) Bass-Vavrunek of Fulton, Granddaughter, Lisa (David) Christian of Fulton, MS, Great-granddaughters: Morgan and Neely Christian, Great-grandson, Philip Christian, Sister, Grace (Jerry) Sanderson of Amory, Sister-in-law, Frances Green of Tupelo, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wendell Waddle; first husband and father of her children, Ruble Robinson; daughter, Charlotte Ann Robinson, brother, R.O. Green, and a sister, Margaret Green.
Pallbearers will be Philip Christian, David Christian, Dennis Vavrunek, Bobby Richardson, and Richard Martin.
