Funeral service for Ola Mae Motes, 90, will be Friday, March 12, 2021 at 12:00 PM at New Center Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Williams and Bro. Stanley Reeves officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 12, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at New Center Baptist Church.
Mrs. Motes died on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at her residence. She was born January 29, 1931, in Morgan County to Thomas Henry Reeves and Susan Elizabeth Dyer Reeves. She was a homemaker for her family, whom she loved dearly. She loved her church, Decatur First Holy Church of Christ. She was affectionately known as “Aunt Mae” to everyone that knew her.
“Special Thanks” are extended to the Hospice of the Valley and her caregivers: Amber Sutherlin, Morgan Ratliff, Mallory Standridge, Emma Ratliff, Sheila Alexander, Cara Standridge and Tara Humphries.
