Funeral Services for Ms. Okema Morrow, age 98 of Lineville, will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland with Rev. Jerry Colquett and Rev. Larry Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay County Memory Gardens.
Ms. Morrow was born in Clay County where she has been a lifelong resident. She graduated high school at Cragford High School in 1947 and worked at Higgins Mfg. for over 42 years. Okema enjoyed crocheting; she loved the Lord and her Lineville Baptist Church family, and the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class.
Ms. Morrow is survived by her sister, Thelma Handley of Huguley, AL.; her nieces: Betty Vickers, Patsy Skinner, Martha Handley, Barbara Tittle; her nephew: James Handley; and several great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents: James Menton Burdette and Leslie Pearley Waldrop Burdette; her husband: Brenton Morrow; 1 sister: Mozel Causey and 1 nephew: Robert Causey.
Her visitation will be held at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
