Officer Attacker By Bus Passenger…Both Will Be “OK”

HUNTSVILLE-Authorities with the Huntsville Police Department confirmed the attack on a Huntsville police officer Friday morning.  The attacker has been identified as John Lee Bullard.

According to police officials the officer was involved in a fight with the passenger of a bus.  Employees at the bus station immediately assisted the officer.  Police Chief McMurray said the officer had cuts and bruises and was bleeding from a head wound.  The officer was transported to a local hospital by ambulance and according to reports is not in serious danger. According to McMurray both the officer and the attacker are expected to be “OK”.
