Odis Johnson, 90, of Arab entered into rest on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Diversacare of Arab.
Mr. Johnson was born December 21, 1929 in Madison County, Alabama. He loved to sing gospel music and go to church, and also played guitar in a quartet.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 9-11am at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be at 11am. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville..
Odis is survived by his sons, Rickey Johnson and Jerry Johnson; grandchildren, Dale Johnson, Tandalone Michelle Johnson and Jeffery Moody; 4 great grandchildren; and brother, Floyd Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Myra Johnson; his wife, Theona “Bill” Johnson; daughter, Janice Fay Johnson; granddaughter, Kathrine Fay Johnson; 3 brothers, Sam, Jessie and James; and 2 sisters, Fronie and Laza.
