Odis Franklin Everett Odis Franklin Everett, 77, of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Everett was born on October 2nd, 1944, to William and Ostella Everett.

Mr. Everett is survived by his wife Brenda Everett; son Woody Everett of Addison, AL; daughters Pamela Dodd (Bobby) of Crane Hill, AL, Michelle Jennings (Jimmy) of Fayetteville, TN, Katina Carter of Harvest, AL, and Misty Howse of Cullman, AL; grandchildren Hayden Everett, Makayla Harris, Haley Everett, Brittney Scott, Makenzie Moorehead, Ivey Howse, Colton Moorehead, Blake Carter, Eli Howse, and Ellie Howse; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and three brothers.

Funeral services for Mr. Everett will be Sunday, March 20th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Toney Wales officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 19th, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Ken LeSueur, Kenneth Odell, John Alfrey, Tommy Hunter, John Crutcher, Mark Ebert, Wayne Simpkins, and Rodney Ferguson. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens.

He loved horses, horseback riding, and woodworking.

Per Mr. Everett’s final wishes: “Instead of flowers, give money or whatever to my wife Brenda or donate to Elkton Road Baptist Church for Good Shepherd Ministry in Haiti.”
