Funeral services for Bro. Odie Russell Hunter, age 93, of New Market, AL, will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery.
Mr. Hunter was the son of the late Odie Henry and Virginia Cole Hunter. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy, and a minister of the Baptist Faith for over 50 years.
Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mable Worsham Hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Randall Hunter; three brothers; and one sister.
Visitation with the family will be 12 until 1 p.m. Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Home.
