Mrs. Newton was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a retired practical nurse at Crockett Hosptial, and a charter member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include: 3 Daughters- Linda Holloway of Five Points, TN; Bonnie Ezell of Anchorage, AK; Tammy Ringenberg of Nashville, TN; 2 Brothers- W.O. Davis of Liberty Grove, TN; O.D. Davis of Athens, AL; 8 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces & Nephews; Preceded in death by: Parents- Ernest & Lucy Davis; Husband- William Robert Newton; Brother- O.C. Davis; The funeral service will be officiated by Jerry Roebuck. Burial to follow in Second Creek Cemetery.
