Funeral for O.E. Horton, 90, of Moulton will be today, July 29, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Crumpton officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Horton, who died Sunday, July 27, 2014, at his daughter’s residence, was born December 7, 1923, in Lawrence County to the late Wes Horton and Ida Goodwin Horton. He retired from ConAgra and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Holy Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Lucille Mitchell Horton.
Survivors include his son, Harold Horton of Orlando, Fla.; daughter, Patricia Loosier (Roger) of Moulton; two grandchildren, Tracy Waldrop of Moulton and Steven Loosier (Amanda) of Bowling Green, Ky.; one sister, Irene Horton Smith of Moulton; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Waldrop of Moulton and Camryn Loosier of Bowling Green, Ky.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jordan Waldrop.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Horton, Dwight Escue, Farrell Lipscomb, Jimmy Horton, Jerry Horton and Steven Horton.
