Microwave Dave & The Nukes perform at the 2011 NW-SCC W.C. Handy Festival Event
MUSCLE SHOALS – Prior to the official kick-off of the 35th annual W.C. Handy Music Festival (July 22 – 31), Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) will host a W.C. Handy Music Festival event featuring Microwave Dave and The Nukes Tuesday, July 19th, at 11:30 a.m. outside the Hospitality Center on the Shoals campus.
Microwave Dave and The Nukes have been a staple performer in the annual W.C. Handy Festival and have established themselves with performances throughout the United States and Europe over the past 27 years. The event will be FREE and open to the public. The NW-SCC Business Department will be selling food with all proceeds benefitting the Shoals Scholar Dollars Scholarship Foundation.
