Northwest Shoals to host annual commencement ceremony Thursday, May 8

 MUSCLE SHOALS & PHIL CAMPBELL-Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) will hold the 2024-2025 commencement ceremonies Thursday, May 8, 2025, for the Phil Campbell and Shoals campuses in the Patriot Center (gym) on the Shoals campus.

Nursing Pinning and Commencement ceremonies will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025, in the following order:

Nursing Pinning Ceremony (ADN and PN)             11:00 a.m.       Redemption Shoals Church; Muscle Shoals, Ala.

Commencement (Academic Programs)                  2:00 p.m.         NWSCC Shoals campus; Patriot Center (gym)

Commencement (Health Studies Programs)          4:00 p.m.         NWSCC Shoals campus; Patriot Center (gym)

Commencement (Career Tech/Dual Enrollment)    6:00 p.m.         NWSCC Shoals campus; Patriot Center (gym)

Graduates from the summer semester of 2024 through spring semester of 2025 will be recognized.

“We are excited to celebrate our students and their hard work that got them to this moment in their collegiate journey,” said NWSCC President Dr. Jeff Goodwin. “Graduation is a special day our students will always remember as they become Northwest Shoals Patriot alumni.”

According to the NWSCC Enrollment Management Office, approximately 870 students have completed requirements for graduation. Approximately 285 students plan to participate in graduation ceremonies.

The commencement ceremony and Nursing Pinning ceremonies will be live streamed on the College’s official Facebook page.
