PHIL CAMPBELL – Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) is thrilled to announce the upcoming production of Shrek The Musical April 11-14 on the NWSCC Phil Campbell campus.
The musical is based on the beloved DreamWorks Animation film and William Steig’s classic book. This enchanting musical extravaganza, with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire, promises to delight audiences of all ages with its heartwarming story and infectious songs.
Shrek The Musical brings to life the adventures of everyone’s favorite ogre, Shrek, as he embarks on a journey to rescue Princess Fiona with the help of his loyal companion Donkey. Along the way, they encounter a colorful cast of characters, including the sassy Gingerbread Man, the villainous Lord Farquaad, and a host of fairytale creatures. Packed with humor, heart, and memorable tunes, this production is sure to captivate audiences from start to finish.

The performances will take place in the Lou B. Bevill Center located on the NWSCC Phil Campbell campus. Showtimes are as follows:
