Norma Waldrep King, 98, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Decatur. Born February 23, 1920 in Lawrence County to Charlie and Annis Waldrep, Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton King; sisters, Imogene Narmore and Evelyn Calloway; brothers, Dewey, Lile, Coy, Charles Jr., Forrest and Aubrey Waldrep and daughter, Peggy McCleskey.
Mrs. King is survived by one sister, Bobbie Sue Chavez; two daughters Judy Fuller and Myra Kitchens (Jesse); one son, Billy King; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Jeff Kitchens officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon with the service immediately following. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
