Mrs. Norma Jo Williams Blankenship, age 81, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Lexington. She was born April 10, 1939 in Henderson County to the late Billy Ray and Myrtle Dunn Williams. She was retired from Johnson Controls and was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Lexington. She loved her family, had a spirit of adventure, quick wit, and was hard working. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Sidney Blankenship. Survivors include her son, Timothy A. Blankenship (Leesa); her daughter, Kimberly Jo Blankenship; her sister, Betty J. Wilson (Tommy); four grandchildren, Saleesa Jo Blankenship (Shane Bartholomew), T J Blankenship (Katie), Tyler Bailey, and Megan Fiddler; and her nephew, Chris Wilson (Kim). Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 30 at 2 PM at First United Pentecostal Church in Lexington. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10AM – 2 PM. In regards to visitation or services, please remember we must respect the guidelines set in place by our governor, limiting to groups of less than ten people at a time and social distancing as needed.
