Norma Jean Hinds, 68 of Arab Alabama died Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Hinds was born March 13, 1948 in Marshall County the daughter of Birnlee Smith and Rena McWhorter Smith. She worked for Goody’s in Arab as a sales associate. She was a 1966 graduate of Arab High School.
She was a member of Summit Church.
Mrs. Hinds is survived by her husband of 47 ½ years: Hubert C. “Hooter” Hinds Jr.; her daughter Heather Rena Hinds; a sister Jo Martin and nieces and nephews: Jennifer Shuler, Brad Morrow, Deborah Hinds and Joe Hinds. She was preceded in death by her parents: Birnlee and Rena Smith.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 24, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Russell Pinyan and Curtis McCallister, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Stephens, Michael Cooper, Jeff Murphree, Mark Edwards, Spencer Durham, Brad Martin, Chris Flack and Keith Flack.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
