Norma Jean Gigandet, 88, of Toney, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. She was a native of West Virginia and a resident of Madison County for over 50 years. She was a member of the Heaven’s Way Baptist Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Connie Sallis of Meridianville, AL, Evelyn Jean Ferguson of Toney, AL ; son, Donald Whitaker of Toney, AL; three step-daughters, Cathy Gipson, Drema Gigandet, Thresa Kettle; four step-sons, Eugene Gigandet, Tom Gigandet, John Gigandet, and Roger Gidandet; brother, Charles Agnor of Kettering, OH; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, October 8 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. A chapel service will be on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens. Rev. Greg Chappell will be officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
