Norma Ann Riemer passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the age of 92. She was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Huntsville, Alabama. Norma graduated from Holy Name of Mary School in Algiers, Louisiana. She worked for NASA Michoud in New Orleans where she met her husband Robert “Bob” Riemer. She was a devoted member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville, Alabama. She loved to travel, loved her family, and enjoyed having meals with friends and following politics.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Murphy Tranchina and Ann Pauline Mayet. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Mervyn Daigle and her second husband, Bob Riemer.
The family would like to give special thanks to the families of Lusher, Mayet, and Riemer who provided much joy in her life.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Holy Spirit Catholic church on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by the service at 10 a.m.
