Nora Maxine Wisham, 90, of Guin, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025. She was born Jan. 24, 1935, to Thomas Jackson Tucker and Bertha Mae Palmer Tucker in Hamilton.

Maxine married Billy Calvin Wisham on April 27, 1956. She was an active member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

She worked at Sunset Manor for 20 plus years and was the dietary manager. She was loved by the families, residents and employees.

She is survived by her son, Jerome (Debra) Wisham; daughter, Patricia (Tommy) Franks Wilson; grandchildren, Angie (Junior) Lucas, Erin (Bryan) Williams, Jake (Sarah) Franks, Dana Wisham and Sara Beth Franks; great-grandchildren, Dylan (Kara) Cantrell, Blake Cantrell, Tatum Franks, Zoe Lucas, Jack Bell, Miley Franks, Karter Bell, Garrison Franks, Noah Franks, Max Franks, Tripp Hawkins and Riley Allison; brothers, Gene Tucker and Dewayne Tucker; sister, Dean Woods; and a very dear friend, Leah Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bertha Mae Tucker; husband, Billy Wisham; one great-grandchild, Hawkins; brother, Coy Tucker; and sister, Alma Satterwhite.

The family wishes to thank Centerwell Home Health and Enhabit Hospice for the care of their loved one.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, from 1-2 p.m., at Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, located on County Highway 37 in Guin, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Pallbearers are Scotty Tucker, Mike Satterwhite, Dylan Cantrell, Blake Cantrell, Jimmy Bozeman, Isaac Bozeman, Jack Bell and Garrison Franks. Honorary pallbearer will be Noah Franks.

Veal Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family.
