Noah H. Stafford, Jr., 82, of Centre, Alabama, formally of New Castle, KY, died on September 3, 2014, at Gadsden Regional Hospital in Gadsden, Alabama.
Funeral services for Mr. Stafford will be held Saturday at 10 A.M. at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eddie Nation officiating. Entombment will follow in the Cherokee Memory Garden Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Friday.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Centre First Baptist Church Recreation Outreach Center, 300 East By-Pass, Centre, AL 35960.
Noah is survived by his loving wife, Mary W. Stafford, his children, Lee Stafford (Janet), Doris Borden (Robert), Mark Stafford (Arlene), Rhonda McDonald (Paul), and Charles Stafford (Melinda); Grandchildren, Leigh Borden, Robert Borden, Jason Barber, Kaitlyn Stafford, Harley Stafford, Michael Stafford, Erik Liebenthal, Katie McDonald, Colleen Coomes, Tiffany Stafford, and Tyler Stafford; and his four great-grandchildren and his loving sister-in-law, Barbara Ray
He was preceded in death by his sister, Fannie Lee Clark
Noah was born on March 13, 1932, in Henry County, Kentucky, to the late Noah H. and Clyde Tingle Stafford. He was self-employed in the automotive business in Florida before moving to Kentucky. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling and most of all spending time with family.
Noah was a member of New Castle Christian Church in New Castle, Kentucky.
Pallbearers are: Paul McDonald (son-in-law), Jon Tingle (Cousin), Charles Singleton, and Dewey Reynolds.
