Nina Madeline Ivy, age 85, of Tuscumbia, died Wednesday December 9, 2015. Her family will receive friends Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Gerald Sockwell officiating. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Ivy was a native or Tishomingo, MS, and was a member of Westside Church of Christ. She was a retired seamstress and sewed for many people in her community. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved being outdoors, fishing, and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Pitts, parents, Herman and Cleo Paden; sons, James Pitts and Terry Ivy; and brother, Eugene Paden.
She is survived by her daughters; Rebecca McAnally(Clinton), Cindy Holdbrooks, Susan Hester(Byron); thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Her grandsons will be pallbearers.
