Nina Jean Walls Perry, age 76 of Estill Springs, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Vanderbilt-Harton in Tullahoma. A native of Franklin County, she was born on September 10, 1946 to the late James Isaac and Velma Vertie (Hill) Coffelt. Before her retirement, she was employed for twenty years as an accountant by the Tennessee Correction Academy. Following her retirement, she went to work for U.S. Express as a truck driver. She enjoyed sewing and made beautiful curtains. Nina also enjoyed reading, hunting with her brothers and husband, and in her younger years swimming with her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was a member of Elk River Baptist Church, where she attended until her health began to fail. Family and friends will remember her kind and loving nature and how she cherished the time with her beloved family and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Dale Walls; son, Michael Dale Walls; and siblings, Doug (Alice) Coffelt, Patsy Bronstetter, Merrill Coffelt, and Kenneth Coffelt. Nina is survived by her loving son, Ronnie D. Walls of Winchester; grandchildren, Amanda, Heather, Patrick, and Logan; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Darlene (Dave) Partin of Norton, Ohio, and Sue (Ray) Brown of Estill Springs; sister-in-law, Kathy Coffelt; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery.
