Nina H. Davis age 99 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Limestone health Facility. Mrs. Davis was born May 30, 1916 in Limestone County, AL to Jerome Tarpley and Jennie Lou Gatlin Tarpley.
Graveside services will be Friday, February 26, 2016 11:00 a.m., at Roselawn Cemetery with Greg Lauderback officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis was a Christian.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Jennie Lou Tarpley; one daughter, Evelyn Hacker; one grandson, Michael Hacker; two son-in-laws, Doug Hacker and Larry Vinson.
Survived by one daughter, Margaret Vinson of Athens; one son, Clyde Davis and wife, Vivian of Athens; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
