Nina Bell Harris of Huntsville passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Mrs. Harris was born Oct. 13, 1926 to Pharris and Vesper Dooley in Douglas, Al. Survivors include daughter, Janice Sanders (Ron) of Huntsville, and son, Arthur Harris (Patty) of Knoxville,TN; granddaughters, Shannon Belew (Tom) of Huntsville, Stephanie Carter (Tom) of Lake Eksinore, CA; grandson, Jarrad Harris of Huntsville; great-grandchildren, Holden Belew and Wiley Belew, both of Huntsville, Evan Carter of Lake Elsinore, CA, Will Harris of Huntsville, and Sydney Harris of GA; sister, Gloria Glassco of Cullman; brother, Tillman Dooley of Huntsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee R. Harris, parents, sister, Elizabeth Elliott, brother, T.J. Dooley, son, James Harris, and daughter, Sandra Hudson.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 12 at Huntsville Memory Gardens. Great-nephew, Jason Ramsey, pastor of Center Grove Baptist Church will officiate. Pall bearers will be Holden Belew, Tim Dooley, Joe Dooley, Mike Dooley, Jeremy Reynolds, and Matthew Reynolds.
