Nicholas Jeffery “Casper” Gearhart, age 43 of Tallapoosa, passed away on April 7, 2025, at Wellstar Douglas Medical Center. He is survived by his parents, Johnny and Scherrie Ruiz; sister, Ashley Ruiz-Parker (Steven); brother, Lee Hines (Regina); grandfather, Pete Gearhart; and nieces and nephews, Marissa Parker, Kam Ford and Kahleesi Hines.
Nick enjoyed the art of tattoo, drawing, fishing and music.
A celebration of life service will be announced in the next month.
