Nicholas Alan Akins – Obituary

Nicholas Alan Akins, age 27 of Jasper, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Brookwood Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Memorial services will be Friday, December 16, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel.

Mr. Akins was preceded in death by his Maw Maw-Lynn Dockery; Uncle-Guy Zwetzig; Paw Paw-Dean West; Maw Maw Childers; Many other aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his Mother-Star Childers (Roger); Father-Christopher Akins; Son-Skylar Akins; Sister-Secilly Ferguson (Chris); Brothers-Cliff Akins and Carmen Childers; Grandparents-Mavis Dockery, Lenny Nelson, Wanda and Ollis.
