Neva Larie Attkisson, age 69, of Columbia, TN passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026, at her residence. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vance and Minnie Christian Daniel; her husband, Jackie Attkisson; two brothers, Jimmy Daniel and Wade Daniel; and one sister, Anita Brazier.
She is survived by three sons, Heath Attkisson (Paige), Shaen Attkisson (Lela), and Gabriel Attkisson (Ashley); one daughter, Kerri Attkisson (Beth); three brothers, Richard Daniel (Shirley), R.B. Daniel (Mingo), and Terry Daniel (Sherry); two sisters, Eva Attkisson (Johnny) and Martha Gibson; ten grandchildren, Zoe Dewire (Rodney), Jessica Pettigrew (Chris), Breanna Vinson (Cain), Ashley Attkisson, Caleb Attkisson, Cambria Attkisson, Mason Dilliha, Landon Attkisson, Charley Attkisson, and Gunner Attkisson; and sixteen great-grandchildren, Henleigh Simmons, Brixton Dewire, Keeley Dewire, Rylan Dewire, Braylee Pettigrew, Hayden Pettigrew, Lana Pettigrew, Aubrey McCandless, Eva Pettigrew, Malachi Burney, Dalton Crowell, Collin Vinson, Camden Vinson, Casen Vinson, Beckett Yokley-Owens, and Berkleigh Dewire.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday, November 2, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, November 2, 2026, with Chad Clanton officiating. Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
