Nettie Valerie Banks, 65, a native of Moulton, and a 30-year resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018.
Valerie achieved her nursing degrees at the University of North Alabama and Samford University in Birmingham. She was CEO of Valerie Banks Designs, which specialized in one of a kind custom gowns and after five apparel.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Martin Banks and Lorene Banks; her brother, Martin Banks, Jr., his wife Ann; nephew, Billy Banks and niece, Theresa Banks.
Valerie is survived by her two sisters, Madelle Banks Hancock and Sybil Banks Woodall; nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Ryan’s Creek Baptist Church in Breeman, Alabama on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 3 p.m. Arrangements by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home.
