Mrs. was born May 8, 1944 in Morgan County to the late Ollie and Georgia May Londay Orr. She departed this life on June 11, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. She began a study of the bible at a young age and symbolized her dedication by water immersion in September 1961. She expressed her faith in God’s promise of the future paradise earth where God’s kingdom government will replace suffering, sadness and sickness with peace and happiness. (Daniel 2:44, Isaiah 33:24)
She was united in holy matrimony to her late husband, Frank Emerson Sharpley. She was a data entry clerk for Boeing Corporation for many years.
She leaves to cherish her memory: five children, Frank Sharpley Jr. of Nashville, TN, John Emmett Sharpley, Alisa Georgette (Robert) Parris both of Hartselle, Kevin Lee Sharpley of Decatur and Denise Michelle Sharpley of Hartselle; siblings, Charles, Joe, Johnny “Bubba” and Josie; three grandchildren, Mocha and Tyla Parris, Wesley Clemmons and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a large spiritual family and friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Sharpley will be Friday evening, June 13, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hartselle with Brother Johnny Crowder officiating.
The family would like to thank each of you for the many acts of kindness shown to them during this difficulty time. You have made this much easier to bear. Special thanks to Brother Johnny Crowder. May Jehovah God bless you.
