Nelson Lamar Talley, 72, of Decatur, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Emily Talley; three sons, Keith Talley (Beverly), Josh Harlow, and Christopher Harlow (Cassie); three daughters, Kathy Roe (Mark), Connie Stauddy (Scott), and Heather Rainwater (Kenny); two brothers, Wayne Talley and Rick Talley; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, also a special family friend, Marsha Farris. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Danville, Alabama followed by a funeral at 3 p.m. at the church with Joey Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
