Catherine McCarren, 79 of Elkmont, Alabama, passed away on September 22nd, 2024, in her home. She was born on June 20th, 1945, in Rockford, Illinois, to parents Edward Downey and Thelma Schmoski.
Catherine is survived by her two sons: Jim Gent, of Elkmont, Alabama, and Robert Gent, of Love Park, Illinois; and one brother, Anthony Downey, of Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Catherine enjoyed crafts and gardening.
